Rasmus Olsen (born May 30, 1980 ) is a Danish ice hockey player who has been under contract with AaB Ishockey in the Danish AL-Bank Ligaen since 2006 . His brother Michel Olsen was also a professional ice hockey player.

Career

Rasmus Olsen began his career as a hockey player with the Herlev Eagles , for which he was active in the 1st division from 1996 to 1998. He then moved to IC Gentofte , for whom he scored a total of nine scorer points, including five goals, in 34 games in the 1998/99 season in the AL-Bank Ligaen . After only a year, the attacker returned to Herlev, who meanwhile also played first class. The left shooter stayed in Herlev for a total of seven seasons before moving to AaB Ishockey in the summer of 2006 , for which he has been playing ever since and with whom he was Danish runner-up and Danish cup winner in the 2006/07 season .

International

For Denmark , Olsen took part in the 2007 , 2008 and 2009 World Championships . He was also in his country's squad to qualify for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver , where he scored one goal in three games.
