Rasmus von Gottberg
Rasmus von Gottberg (born July 19, 1932 in Koenigsberg ; † January 26, 2010 in Mougins ) was a German writer and advertising film director and producer.
Life
Rasmus von Gottberg was a son of Curt von Gottberg and his 2nd wife Charlotte Kniep (1903-1982). He was married to Maike Langguth (* 1941) for the second time.
After fleeing from what was then the eastern German territories and attending school at the Baltic Sea High School , Gottberg had several odd jobs. This was followed by activities as a director and producer for advertising films with his Hamburg company Hanseatic-Kontakt-Film (including for the detergent Ariel with “Klementine” ).
After working as a commercial filmmaker, he began to write books. Gottberg lived in Mougins on the Côte d'Azur in Provence .
Awards
He has received numerous awards for his films, including three Golden Lions at Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival .
