Rastislav Trtík

Rastislav Trtík (born March 6, 1961 in Karviná , ČSSR ) is a Czech handball coach . He coached the Czech men's national team as well as club teams in the Czech Republic , Slovakia and Germany .

In 1996/1997 Trtík coached the Baník Karviná team . Rastislav Trtík was from July 2004 until his dismissal in December 2006 coach of MT Melsungen , which he led in 2005 from the 2nd Bundesliga to the Bundesliga . He coached the HT Tatran Prešov club for three years until the end of the 2010/11 season , with whom he was three times Slovak champion. Until 2012 he worked again at HC Baník OKD Karviná. From the 2012/13 season he was coach at HC Empor Rostock in the 2nd Bundesliga. There he was given leave of absence on September 14, 2014. In the 2015/16 season he trained again for Tatran Prešov, who won the Slovak Championship and the Slovak Cup in 2016 under his direction. He then took over the coaching position from the Polish club NMC Górnik Zabrze .

Dr. Rastislav Trtík was also the coach of the Czech national team .
