Ratanachai Sor Vorapin ( Thai รัตน ชัย ส ว รพิ น. , RTGS Ratanachai So Woraphin , real name: Chaiya Phothong - ไชยา โพธิ์ทอง , nickname: Lek - เล็ก * 1. November 1976 in the district of Dan Khun Thot the province of Nakhon Ratchasima , Northeast Thailand ) is a former Thai boxer in the bantamweight .

Professional career

Ratanachai started his professional career successfully in 1992. On May 7, 2004 he boxed against Cruz Carbajal for the world championship title of the WBO association and won by unanimous decision of the judges. The following year he defended this belt against Mauricio Martínez by majority decision and lost it to Jhonny Gonzalez by technical knockout in round 7.

In 2011 he ended his career.
