The Wasungen town hall is located on the market square of Wasungen , a town in the Schmalkalden-Meiningen district of Thuringia .

The marketplace for traufständige corner house, a representative half-timbered house in the region, was from 1532 to 1534 on the foundations built an earlier building. The massive ground floor is plastered. An asymmetrical bay window is presented on the eaves side of the two upper floors made of half-timbering . Annexes were added in the 17th and 19th centuries. The historic hall of aldermen has a paneling from the 16th century. In the courtyard , which has been converted on three sides, there are Oberlauben.
