Cenotaph for fallen soldiers

The Büsum town hall in the Dithmarschen district is a listed administrative building in the Büsum municipality in Schleswig-Holstein .

The building was built between 1914 and 1915 according to plans by the architect Carl Mannhardt . He designed a two-storey building with neo-baroque shapes, which was executed in red brick . The front is characterized by a disproportionately wide, semicircular central gable. Between the annual figures of the establishment, in 1914 and 1915, is a relief of Rome Clemens to see the patron of the parish of Büsum. The back, which is adjacent to the St. Clemens Church , appears rather massive due to a protruding middle section.

In front of the building is Kaiser-Wilhelm-Platz with a memorial for those who died in the First and Second World Wars .
