The council chamber is a listed building in the town of Weißenfels in Saxony-Anhalt . In the local register of monuments , the building is listed as a monument under registration number 094 11345 .

history

The council hall of the city of Weißenfels, built in 1870 at Am Kloster 1 in Weißenfels, has a sacred architecture. It consists of three elements, each two-storey, and two buildings standing crosswise to each other with a porch . The windows on the upper floor are designed in the arched style, while those on the lower floor are in the flat arch style. At times the building was used as an auditorium , today the council meetings take place here.
