The Rauchkofel is 1910 m above sea level. A. high mountain in East Tyrol in the Lienz district , which watches over the city of Lienz in front of the Lienz Dolomites . It lies on the municipal boundary between Amlach and Tristach and belongs to the mountains of the Gailtal Alps . From its summit you have a view in all directions: from the Pustertal into the Iseltal , across the Lienz valley floor , towards Mölltal and Drautal , to the Lienz Dolomites and the Schober group . The Rauchkofel transmitter is located on the mountain .
