Room cell construction

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The room cell construction is a construction process in which complete room cells are prefabricated and then assembled on the construction site . They consist of walls , ceilings , floors , interior fittings, installations, windows , doors , etc.

The cells are lined up with a crane on the construction site, whereby the size of the cells depends on the transport options. A high level of planning effort is necessary for the modular construction. This pays off, however, if the structure consists of many identical modules or if the basic module is so versatile that it can be easily adapted to the different uses.
