Rauschner (noble family)

The Rauschner , later also Rauschner von Lindenberg , were a local Franconian noble family .

history

As part of the imperial Franconian knighthood, the Rauschner were organized in the knight canton of Gebürg . You are the builder of the Spornburg Rauschenstein . In the middle of the 13th century they were briefly castle men at Arnstein Castle . In the church of Kasendorf there are two tombs of the Rauschner. Joachim Rauschner von Lindenberg († 1560), shown in knight armor, is described as the last and noblest of his family.

The coat of arms is covered with a slanted, silver bar with three fish . The top field is red, the bottom blue. The crest is an animal.
