Rautendorf ( Low German Rutendorp ) is a district of the Grasberg community in the Osterholz district in Lower Saxony .
history
Rautendorf was founded in 1762 as part of the moor colonization of the Teufelsmoor . In the 1780s, the place had 32 households with 76 adults and 86 children for a total of 162 inhabitants. In 1910 there were 569 inhabitants.
The place was merged on March 1, 1974 as part of the regional reform with other places to the municipality Grasberg.
