Schmalenbeck ( Low German Smalenbeek ) is a district of the municipality of Grasberg in Lower Saxony district Osterholz . The place is east of the core town Grasberg. State road L 133 runs to the west .
history
The place was founded in 1762 as part of the moor colonization of the Teufelsmoor . In 1789, it is stated that 148 people lived in 26 houses, including 79 children. In 1910 there were 282 inhabitants, in 1939 there were 248.
