Huxfeld ( Low German Huxfeld ) is a district of the Grasberg community in the Osterholz district in Lower Saxony .

history

Huxfeld was founded as part of the moor colonization of the Teufelsmoor in 1789. In 1791 it is stated that the number of households was 22. The census in 1871 counted 239 inhabitants in 33 houses. In 1910 the place had 244 inhabitants.

The place was merged on March 1, 1974 as part of the regional reform with other places to the municipality Grasberg.
