Rawan Ayman Ibrahim Barakat (born July 17, 2001 ) is an Egyptian hammer thrower .

Athletic career

Rawan Barakat gained her first international experience at the 2018 African Youth Games in Algiers , where she won the gold medal with 69.16 m, qualifying for the Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires , where she won the silver medal. The following year she won with 65.90 m at the Arab Championships in Cairo and with 60.83 m at the Junior African Championships in Abidjan . At the end of August, she took part in the Africa Games in Rabat for the first time and finished sixth there with 61.17 m.

In 2018 and 2019, Barakat was Egyptian hammer throw champion.
