Ray O. Binger (born November 16, 1888 in Pickett , Wisconsin , † September 29, 1970 in Orange County , California ) was an American cameraman and special effects artist who was nominated three times for the Oscar in the category of best visual effects (special effects) has been.

Life

He began his career as a cameraman in Hollywood in 1924 for the feature film The Goldfish . In 1934 he was responsible for the special effects for the first time at Kid Millions . In 1937 he was with other technicians in ... then the hurricane came responsible for the creation of a hurricane. In 1941 he was nominated for The Long Road to Cardiff together with RT Layton and Thomas T. Moulton for an Oscar in the special effects category (now Best Visual Effects ).
