Ray Bumatai
Ray Bumatai (born December 20, 1952 in Offenbach am Main , † October 6, 2005 in Hawaii ) was an actor , comedian and musician in Hawaii.
Life
Ray Bumatei has appeared in numerous films, television films, and theater projects in Hawaii and Hollywood . He played for Magnum , Baywatch - The Lifeguards of Malibu , Jake and McCabe - Through Thick and Thin , Dr. Kulani - Doctor in Hawaii and Hawaii with. Bumatei was also the voice actor for the Disney films Lilo & Stitch and Rocket Power .
In 2002 a brain tumor was diagnosed, which Ray Bumatai believed he had overcome. However, the disease returned. His last appearance was in January 2005 with his wife Karen “Bree” Brilliande in the play Over The Tavern . Bumatai leaves behind his wife, with whom he has been married since 1993, and his daughter Cecilly Ann Bumatai.
