Ray Errol Fox

Ray Errol Fox (born July 13, 1939 in Philadelphia ) is an American journalist , songwriter and film producer . For his short documentary Yad Vashem: Preserving the Past to Ensure the Future , he received a nomination for Best Documentary Short at the 1990 Academy Awards .

Life

Ray Errol Fox began his career as a songwriter for television and series subjects. Among other things, he wrote the songs Dream World for Gene Pitney and Here's to Love for Jack Jones as well as the lyrics to the musical The Confidence Man , the latter together with Jim Steinman .

In 1979 he published a novel about Angela Ambrosia, who had leukemia for over ten years .

1986 Ray Errol Fox revised the script for the film Hot Shot - The Path to Victory . He then wrote and produced the film Yad Vashem: Preserving the Past to Ensure the Future on the Yad Vashem Memorial in Jerusalem in 1989 , which was nominated for best short documentary film at the 1990 Academy Awards. Another documentary by him called Freedom to Hate appeared in 1993. It deals with neo-fascism and anti-Semitism in America. In 2003 a screenplay for the television film Mafia Doctor followed .

Today he has a weblog under the name Son of the Cucumber King .
