Raymond-Pierre Bodin

Raymond-Pierre Bodin (* 1948 in France , † July 4, 2003 in Dublin ) was a French psychologist and sociologist .

Life

Bodin studied sociology and graduated with a doctorate .

He began his professional career in the French Ministry of Labor . He then held a professorship for social psychology and work sociology at the University of Grenoble from 1974 to 1989 . He then moved to industry as director of the plastics manufacturer Eurotec Manducher ( Klöckner & Co ), then until 1996 as head of HR at Klöckner Automotive . During this time he was spokesman for the French employers' association of plastics manufacturers, and since 1996 Deputy HR Director at Rhône-Poulenc Rorer (now Aventis Pharma ). In 2000 he was appointed Director of the European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions . At the same time he was on the board of the French employment agency. After three years in office, he suddenly passed away. His successor was his deputy Willy Buschak .
