Raymond Beadle
Raymond Beadle (born December 16, 1943 in Spur , Texas , † October 20, 2014 in Dallas , Texas) was an American racing driver and team owner .
Beadle was the owner of the racing team Blue Max Racing , best known for dragster racing . He won the NHRA - Funny Car championships from 1979 to 1981 and the IHRA -Funny Car championships from 1975-76 and 1981st
His team also started in NASCAR from 1983 to 1990 ; his driver Rusty Wallace won the Winston Cup in 1989 .
In 1987 he retired as a racing driver and in 1990 as a racing team owner. In 2014 he was inducted into the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America .
