Rayneke is a Medieval - Folk group from Herford .

history

Rayneke play nationwide at festivals and markets, for example at Satzvey Castle , the Medieval Fantasy Spectaculum and other medieval markets . Several interviews appeared in the trade press, as well as radio interviews and a TV report.

Rayneke was founded in 2003 at a medieval market in Bielefeld's Sparrenburg , when Madiel, Michael and Crimthann were playing together to earn money for mead. In the meantime, three other musicians added to the formation, from 2006 Rayneke was a trio again: Madiel, Mjoelnir and Michael. In 2007 her self-published debut album, Laut und nasty, was released. Michael von Ullrichstein left Rayneke in December 2008. Barely a month later, however, a third man, Morlan, joined Rayneke.

In 2010 the band announced they would take a “creative break”.
