rbb24 (until August 31, 2018: rbb AKTUELL ) is a daily news program on rbb television with current regional reports and reports from the federal states of Berlin and Brandenburg . The show serves as a complement to the broadcast at 19:30 daily Countries magazines Abendschau (Berlin) and currently Brandenburg . The first regular issue of rbb aktuell was broadcast on April 29, 2004. On the other hand, rbb24 is the name of the rbb website as part of the ARD media library and offers a portal for freely accessible videos, live streams , news and multimedia content.

The first broadcast of each day is broadcast at 1 p.m., followed by other issues in the afternoon at 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. The programs are 10, 15 or 5 minutes long and conclude with a short weather report.

Within the program rbb UM SECHS there are two short news overviews from Berlin and Brandenburg from the rbb24 editorial team.

The SpätAbendschau , which was produced by the rbb predecessor SFB , acted as the first broadcast of the late edition of rbb24 in the Berlin city area .
