Rebutia narvaecensis is a species of plant in the genus Rebutia from the cactus family(Cactaceae).
description
Rebutia narvaecensis sprouts with spherical, gray-green bodies and forms groups. The bodies reach heights of 3 to 3.5 centimeters with diameters of 2.5 to 3.5 centimeters. The top of the head is sunk somewhat, nothing is known about the roots. The approximately 18 ribs are divided into low humps. The circular areoles on it are white and protrude somewhat. The 10 to 20, rarely more, whitish thorns cannot be divided into central and radial spines. They are thin, needle-like, spread out and 2 to 3 millimeters long.
The bright pink flowers , appearing on the sides of the body, are often numerous and reach 4 to 4.2 centimeters long and reach the same diameter.
Distribution and systematics
Rebutia narvaecensis is widespread in Bolivia in the Tarija department . The first description as Aylostera narvaecense was published in 1971 by Martín Cárdenas (1899–1973). John Donald Donald (1923-1996) placed them in 1973 in the genus Rebutia .
