The right Alxa banner ( 阿拉善 右 旗 , Ālāshàn Yòu Qí ; Mongolian :ᠠᠯᠠᠱᠠ
ᠪᠠᠷᠠᠭᠤᠨ
ᠬᠣᠰᠢᠭᠤ Alaša Baraɣun qosiɣu ) is a banner of the administrative division at the district level called the Alxa Bund in the far west of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China . It has an area of 72,556 km² and has a population of around 20,000 (2004). Its main town is the municipality of Ehen Hudug (额 肯 呼 都 格 镇).
