Redžep Redžepovski

Redžep Redžepovski ( Macedonian Реџеп Реџеповски ; born December 14, 1962 in Kumanovo , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a former Yugoslavian amateur boxer and silver medalist at the Olympic Games in flyweight (48 to 51 kg) in 1984.

In 1981 he was the first Yugoslav champion and 1983 Balkan champion. At the 23rd Summer Olympics in Los Angeles in 1984 , he defeated Sanguo Teraporn from Thailand (3: 2), the English champion Patrick Clinton (knockout), the oceanic champion Jeff Fenech (4: 1) and the Kenyan Ibrahim Bilali ( 5: 0) before losing to the American Steve McCrory (1: 4) in the final . In 1987 he won the Yugoslav bantamweight championship.
