The Red Cell advertising agency GmbH , headquartered in Dusseldorf is an international advertising agency and a subsidiary of WPP Group (London).

The agency group was created in 2001 as a merger of the agencies Batey Advertising, Cole & Weber, Conquest and Perspectives. The name Red Cell is the English expression for red blood cells ( erythrocytes ), which symbolically stand for “fresh ideas”. The German headquarters was founded in 1972 as Hildmann, Simon, Rempen & Schmitz, in 1991 WPP took over the majority stake and the name was changed to HSR & S Conquest.

Customers include Allianz Global Investors , Aperol , Cinzano Vermouth , Dodge , Hellweg (DIY store) , Initiative Erdgas pro Umwelt, Iveco , K + S , Penthouse , Privatbrauerei Frankenheim , SEWAG and Wonderbra .

In 2003 the company had net sales of £ 67 million, which was just over 100 million euros at the exchange rate at the time.
