Red Vaughan Tremmel
Red Vaughan Tremmel (* 1970 in Chicago ) is an American historian , installation and video artist .
life and work
Tara Red Vaughan Tremmel graduated from the University of Chicago with a PhD in United States history and is a professor at Tulane University . In 2012 she founded the Gender Studies Bureau at Tulane University. She is the director and co-producer of the film Exotic World and the Burlesque Revival (2012). In collaboration with Ruth Robbins , she developed the installation Subjects of Desire: Relics of Resistance , which was shown at dOCUMENTA (13) in 2012 .
