The Redstone River is a left tributary of the Mackenzie River in the Canadian Northwest Territories .
The Redstone River rises near Rockslide Pass in the Mackenzie Mountains . It flows in an easterly direction through the Canyon Ranges and reaches after about 290 km, about 100 km north of Wrigley , the Mackenzie River . The Redstone River drains an area of 16,400 km². Its mean discharge 63 km above the mouth is 174 m³ / s.
The Redstone River is a whitewater river with rapids of difficulty levels II – III. Canoe trips on the river typically last 10-14 days.
