Thatch palm
Reet Palm ( Russian Реет Пальм , Rejet Palm ; born September 14, 1959 in Tartu ) is a former Soviet rower from the Estonian SSR .
Palm together with Jelena Chlopzewa took tenth place in the double scull at the 1977 World Championships . At the World Championships 1978 Palm won with Jelena Chlopzewa, Olga Wassiltschenko , Nadezhda Kosotschkina and control wife Nadezhda Chernyshova the bronze medal in quadruple sculls behind the boats from Bulgaria and the Federal Republic of Germany. The following year, the Soviet double foursome finished fourth at the 1979 World Championships .
In 1978 and 1979 Reet Palm was Sportswoman of the Year in the Estonian SSR.
