Reflex is a band from Murau in Austria .

Career

The group emerged in 1996 from the formation Herz As , which became known as an entertainment band especially in Carinthia and Styria . The singer Nikolaus Presnik decided in 1997, with the support of his then boss Klaus Bartelmuss , to embark on a professional musician career. After Franz Urschitz left the band and three new musicians joined Volker Neumann, Josef Düregger and Jürgen Zechner, the main lineup was fixed. As Nik P. & Reflex , the band was successful for several years, especially live. Most of the tracks were composed and produced by Presnik and Bartelmuss, members of Reflex worked as studio musicians on most of the productions. The rocky live interpretation of the tracks became the band's trademark. Nevertheless, Presnik split from the group in 2005, not least because of musical differences. Josef Düregger and Andreas Wilding are still part of the current backing band of Nik P. Today, Reflex is still active as an entertainment band. The musicians also perform under the pseudonym Eisprung Syndikat to interpret traditional Viennese songs and hits in an acoustic version . Doris Woldan is active as a pop singer under the pseudonym 'Lisa Valentin'.
