Reformed Church of St. Moritz
The Reformed Church (also the name commonly village church to distinguish it from the earlier Anglican , now also reformed Badkirche ) in St. Moritz is an Evangelical - Reformed church under protection of the canton of Grisons .
History and equipment
The church in the center of St. Moritz Dorf was last restored and completely redesigned in 2007. The hall-like interior was brightened and provided with mobile seating that can be adapted to religious and cultural occasions. The gold-colored, cubic stem is striking .
The village church was built in the years 1785–87. The neo-Gothic tower in its current form is of a later date and goes back to the years 1896/97.
Church organization
The Evangelical Reformed Regional Church of Graubünden leads St. Moritz as an independent parish within the Colloquium VII Engiadin'Ota-Bregaglia-Poschiavo-Sursès .
In June 2009 the Graubünden Synod was a guest in the village church .
