The Reformed Church in Romania ( Hungarian : Romániai Református Egyház , Romanian : Biserica Reformată din România ) is a Reformed Church in Romania. It is mainly present in the Hungarian regions of the country. Accordingly, Hungarian is the dominant church language. The majority of the municipalities are in Transylvania . According to the 2002 census, 698,550 people or 3.2% of the population accepted the Evangelical Reformed denomination nationwide. Today the church is divided into two districts with headquarters in Oradea (for western Romania) and Cluj (for Transylvania).

In cooperation with the Unitarian Church of Transylvania and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Romania (both also predominantly Hungarian), the Reformed Church runs the Protestant Theological Institute in Cluj-Napoca in north-western Transylvania.

The Reformed Church in Romania is a member of the World Community of Reformed Churches , the Community of Evangelical Churches in Europe and the World Council of Churches .
