The Refuge du Plan de la Lai is a refuge of the Albertville section of the Club Alpin Français . It is located in France in the Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in the Beaufortain Mountains .

Features and information

The hut is serviced in the summer months. However, the facility will remain open to the public for the rest of the year. Hikers will find gas, crockery, firewood and a stove here.

Access

To reach the hut, you have to go a little over the Lac de Roselend . At about 240 m altitude, not far from the Cormet de Roselend on the road side, the path branches off from the road.

Transitions

This refuge is on several major hiking routes:

  • The Tour du Beaufortain
  • The route of the GR 5 (long-distance hiking trail)

Special features

Hikers can get a reservation for one of the two yurts near the refuge from the hut warden.
