The Refuge du Requin is a refuge of the Chamonix-Mont-Blanc section of the Club Alpin Français , which is located in France in the Haute-Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region . The walls of the hut were made of stone. It is located on a rock plateau northwest of the Glacier du Tacul (a glacier) at the foot of the Dent du Requin , which gave it its name.
Access
The refuge can be reached from Montenvers via the Arctic Ocean and the Glacier du Tacul and then via ladders. You can also go downhill from the Aiguille du Midi through the Vallée Blanche .
