The government Picqué IV is the Government of the Brussels-Capital Region (or Brussels government ) that after the regional elections in 2009 and for the legislative period 2009-2014 on French-language side of Socialists ( PS ), Christian Democrats ( cdH ) and the Greens ( Ecolo ) ( "Olive tree coalition", based on the Italian center-left alliance L'Ulivo ) and on the Dutch - speaking side made up of Liberals ( Open Vld ), Christian Democrats ( CD&V ) and Greens ( Groen ) ("Jamaica Coalition", based on the black-yellow-green Jamaica coalition of Germany ) was formed. Thus, in comparison to the Picqué III government (2004–2009), the existing coalition on the French-speaking side was continued, while on the Flemish side the Greens replaced the Social Democrats ( sp.a ). The outgoing Prime Minister Charles Picqué ( PS ) is leading the Brussels government into his fourth term . On May 7, 2013 Picqué handed over the office of Prime Minister to his successor Rudi Vervoort .
