Richard Bienert Government

The Richard Bienert government , led by Prime Minister Richard Bienert , was in office in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia under German rule from January 19, 1945 until the end of the war. She succeeded the Jaroslav Krejčí government .

history

Krejčí's successor as Prime Minister was the former Prague Police President Richard Bienert in January 1945 . He was the last head of government of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia . Since the protectorate was just out of the reach of Allied bombers, its economy delivered important war goods almost undisturbed until the end of the war. Bienert was arrested on May 5, 1945 on his way to the radio , where he wanted to officially announce the end of the Protectorate.

Party affiliation

In the Protectorate, all political parties were banned and replaced by the Národní souručenství (German: National Community) party, to which all ministers were compulsorily affiliated.
