Regina Ammann Schoch , also Regina Ammann (born June 19, 1963 in Schaffhausen ) is a Swiss politician (first Landesring der Independentigen , later FDP ) and a specialist in public affairs .

Regina Ammann Schoch was a member of the parliament of the Canton of Aargau from 1991 to 1996 as a representative of the Landesring (LdU) . She was elected in the Baden district.

On March 1, 1999, she replaced Samuel Meier, who had died in office, in the National Council . There she was a member of the legal commission. She was one of the last members of parliament in the state ring. The Aargau LdU seat went to the EPP in the 1999 National Council elections . The LdU also remained unsuccessful for the whole of Switzerland in 1999, which is why it was decided on December 4, 1999 to dissolve the Swiss party. Regina Ammann's term of office in the National Council ended on December 5, 1999. As a former member of parliament, she still has access to the Federal Palace .

In 2003 and 2007 she ran for the National Council on lists of the FDP.

Education and professional activities

From 1983 to 1989 Regina Ammann studied law at the University of Zurich, and in 2003 she also completed an Executive MBA in corporate management. After her seat on the National Council, she was responsible for political communication in Switzerland in the Public Affairs department of Credit Suisse Group from 2000 to 2004 . From 2008 to 2013 she was a member of the management and head of the Bundeshaus affairs of the economic umbrella organization Economiesuisse . Since 2013 she has been Head of Public Policy for Switzerland at Syngenta in Basel.
