Regina Baresi (born September 26, 1991 in Milan ) is an Italian soccer player who is under contract with Inter Milan .

Career

Regina Baresi grew up as the daughter of Giuseppe Baresi , former soccer player of Inter Milan , and Elena Tagliabue, president of ASD Femminile Inter Milano . She is also the niece of Franco Baresi , a former AC Milan football player .

Inspired by her father and uncle, Baresi started playing football at ASD Femminile Inter Milano at the age of twelve. In 2009 she was brought into the first team and soon after became team captain . In 2013 she rose to the top division, Serie A , with ASD Femminile Inter Milano after winning the championship in Serie A2 . Relegation to Serie B followed the following year .
