Regina Fuhrer-Wyss

Regina Fuhrer-Wyss (born March 27, 1959 ; resident in Trubschachen ) is a Swiss politician ( SP ).

Life

Regina Fuhrer-Wyss grew up in Bern and Biel and after completing her apprenticeship as a hand weaver, she trained as a farmer . She lives and works on an organic farm in Burgistein , which she took over with her husband in 1984. Regina Fuhrer-Wyss is married and has two children.

politics

Regina Fuhrer-Wyss has been a member of the municipal council (executive) of Burgistein since 2012 and is responsible for the security department. She was elected to the Grand Council of the Canton of Bern in 2014, where she was a member of the Security Commission from 2014 to 2018. Fuhrer-Wyss has been a member of the business audit committee since 2018.

From 2001 to 2011 Regina Fuhrer-Wyss was a member of the Chamber of Agriculture of the Swiss Farmers' Association and President of Bio Suisse . Since 2011 she has been a member of the management committee of SP Women BE and president of the small farmers' association and the Thun housing aid association.
