Regina Grabolle
Regina Grabolle (born May 18, 1965 ) is a former gymnast in the GDR . For her club SC Dynamo Berlin , she won the state championships in floor exercise in 1977 , and in 1979 and 1980 in all-around. At the gymnastics world championships in 1979 she was third on the balance beam and with the team. She was nominated for the 1980 Olympic Games , but had to give up when she arrived at the Olympic Village due to health problems.
Grabolle suffered a twenty percent disability on the spine from competitive sport . Today she works as a physiotherapist .
