Registered Trade Mark
Registered Trade Mark or Registered Trademark (English, literally for "registered trade mark") as well as abbreviated®or(R)isthetechnical termfor a registeredtrademarkorservicemarkin thetrademark law oftheAnglo-American legal circleand of states that havesubscribedto this right.
Goods and service brands that are officially registered in a (at least national) trademark register of this legal group may be marked with the Registered Trade Mark symbol , which confirms full trademark protection .
The Registered Trade Mark symbol is a superscript, circled capital letter "R", which is usually displayed in a smaller font size and is added after the name of the goods and service brand. If this special character is not available, it is sometimes also referred to as "(R)".
