Rehabilitation science

There are two different understandings of the scientific discipline of rehabilitation science in Germany.

• The more clinical-medical rehabilitation science researches the field of rehabilitation .

She deals with topics such as the development , course , prognosis and prevention of diseases as well as the associated impairments of activities and social participation. Clinical-medical rehabilitation science develops quality management systems in the field of rehabilitation facilities and accompanies the further development of the rehabilitative care system.

• The more educational rehabilitation science includes psychological, sociological, educational, educational, medical as well as legal and ethical aspects in the field of disability and chronic illness.

Rehabilitation scientists according to this understanding are therefore active in research , diagnostics , counseling and education .

Rehabilitation science is divided into specific areas

• Hearing impairment ,

• Physically handicapped pedagogy ,
• Education for people with learning disabilities ,
• Language-impaired education and
