The Rehgrabenhütte is an alpine hut in the Bad Tölz - Wolfratshausen district in Upper Bavaria and belongs to the Lenggries community . The hut is 865  m above sea level. NHN at the northeast end of the Röhrmoos high valley. From the state road 2072 in the direction of Jachenau, a forest road closed to public traffic leads over the Jachen tributary of the Isar into the protected landscape area at Rehgraben. After about 2.8 kilometers and an ascent of 170 meters in altitude, a branching off of the gravel path leads directly to the hut.

The forest path continues through the scenic high valley of the Röhrmooses to the Sylvenstein reservoir to the south and in a westerly direction to the community of Jachenau . The Röhrmoos is located in the shadow of the Rauchberg and has a harsh climate that is inappropriate for the altitude . Willow grasses such as quiver grass, stalk grass, panicle grass, comb grass and red fescue grow in the immediate vicinity of the hut. Herbs such as nettle , dock , peppermint , St. John's wort , knapweed and autumn crocus grow in the pasture near the hut .
