history

The RSG was in the 1940/41 season of the district league Oberschlesien Ost in division 2 first and qualified for the final of the district championship, which the team was able to win 3-1 after a return match against Bismarckhütter SV 99 . The team then went to the next season in the Gauliga Oberschlesien by winning , whereby after a season with 11:25 in eleventh place in the end it was over again and the team should be relegated again.

In the second division, now called 1st class Upper Silesia , the RSG 1942/43 was the winner of Division 6 , but managed only second place behind the Reichsbahn SG Katowice in the promotion round of the East Upper Silesia group , which should therefore not be enough for the renewed promotion. After that, the team did not manage to participate again in a promotion round. At the latest at the end of the Second World War , the association was also dissolved.
