The 1st class Oberschlesien 1942/43 served as the substructure of the Gauliga Oberschlesien 1942/43 . In the league system of the Sportgau Upper Silesia, it was the second level. The four departments from the previous year were subdivided again so that trips to the games could be shortened, so that there were 8 regional departments this season. The respective group winners then met in two groups, the first two of the group rose to the Gauliga Oberschlesien. The results in the individual departments are not currently available.
