Reimerzhoven is a district of Altenahr . The place is on the Ahr between Mayschoss and Altenahr, which are each 2 km away.

The settlement was founded in the 14th century as a winegrowing village. It consists of about 40 houses and two streets, the smaller Bergstraße (formerly Weinbergstraße, it lies on the edge of the vineyards) and the Rotweinstraße ( B 267 ), both of which are on the right bank of the Ahr and border directly on a large area of vineyards in which mainly red wine is grown. The Catholic Chapel of Our Lady of Sorrows is located on Rotweinstrasse , a monument from the 19th century.

Above Reimerzhoven are the mountains Ravenley with a medium-sized eagle owl colony and Ümerich, from whose viewing platforms a view over a large part of the Mittelahr is possible. In addition, the Eifelhütte (Eifelblick) with a small football area and barbecue facilities is located above the vineyards. From Reimerzhoven you can also see parts of the Are castle ruins .

The red wine hiking trail , which has existed since 1972, leads through the Reimerzhov vineyards.
