Reinaldo Elias da Costa , often just Reinaldo , (born June 13, 1984 in Itaberí , Minas Gerais ) is a Brazilian soccer player .

Career

Reinaldo began his professional career in Brazil in 2004 with América Mineiro and played for Corinthians Alagoano the following year . At the end of 2005, the 192 cm tall striker initially switched to the Australian professional A-League class on loan to Queensland Roar and was able to convince with two goals in six games in the last games of the season.

After top scorer Alex Brosque left the club during the break , Queensland signed Reinaldo for the 2006/07 season . Reinaldo became a regular player in the following two seasons, with six goals in the 2007/08 season he helped the club to participate in the championship play-offs for the first time, in which he scored another three goals and ultimately failed with Roar in the preliminary final . At the end of the season, Reinaldo decided to move to the Korean first division team Busan I'Park , but returned to Queensland during the break of the season after he terminated his contract with Busan I'Park due to adjustment difficulties.
