meaning

Reinhard Becker is the owner of the graphic workshop Bielefeld , a publisher for postcards , gift books and calendars with headquarters in Gütersloh . In 1978, the graphic designer designed an election campaign poster with yellow sunflowers on a green background for the Green List environmental protection in Lower Saxony , which later became the Green Party , together with the then co-owners of the publishing house Jochen Mariss and Bernd Löffler . The sunflower posters should be glued together on house walls and fences to create the image of a meadow. The poster served as a template for the later party logo, which still contains that sunflower today.
