Reinhard Hanauer (* in Babenhausen ; † 1529 ) was an illegitimate son of Count Philip I, the elder , of Hanau-Lichtenberg . The mother's identity has not been recorded.

In 1512 he took part in the establishment of the guardianship for Philip II of Hanau-Munzenberg . It probably came from a post-marital union of his father, whose wife, Anna von Lichtenberg , died in 1472.

1468-1511 Reinhard Hanauer is proven as pastor of Ober-Roden . He was provost of Neuweiler and when he died in 1529 (also) canon in Worms .
