Reinhard Hendler

Reinhard Hendler (born October 2, 1947 in Niedernwöhren ) is a German lawyer and professor.

After studying law at the Georg-August University in Göttingen , he received his doctorate there in 1976; 1983 followed the habilitation with Volkmar Götz . Hendler has been a full professor of public law since 1984 and has held chairs at the Universities of Konstanz (1984–1988), Marburg (1988–1994) and Regensburg (1994–1999). He has been teaching at Trier University since 1999 and is director of the Institute for Environmental and Technology Law there . Based Jewelers research interests are in the areas of state and administrative law (in particular structures of political will and decision), the environmental and the construction and planning law . He has been with the law firm Jeromin & Kerkmann in Andernach since April 2013 and supports the team in the areas of environmental and planning law in particular.
