Reinhard Korte (* 16th July 1948 in Barkhausen ) is a German local politician of the CDU .

Life and work

Reinhard Korte was a teacher at the Freiherr von Vincke - Realschule in Minden until he took office as mayor. After leaving the office of mayor, he worked as an entrepreneur in Minden, organizing trade fairs and exhibitions.

Reinhard Korte has been a member of the CDU since 1987 and was temporarily chairman of the CDU city association of Minden. In November 2009 he was re-elected chairman of the Minden CDU after a battle vote in the city association, but resigned from the office a few weeks later after there was an election challenge.
